I am writing you this letter to tell you all the exciting news from my trip. As you know, I shopped for a trip for almost a year and Siri Plus 2038 gave me a great idea. Siri helped me decide that I would travel to Mars. My trip started out by having google home call me an uber. I hopped in the uber and to my surprise, it was an autonomous vehicle and I was relieved because I didn’t really want to carry any type of conversation. I simply spoke my destination and the rest was history.

When we arrived at the spaceport, I paid with my new visa arm chip implant. It was easier than having to pull out my phone. That seems so 2019. Anyways, I hopped on an autonomous shuttle that took me to the check in area. I approached the customer service robot and told it my name. It greeted me by asking me how I was. I told it that I was a little bit nervous since I had never been to space. It told me not to worry, the flight will only be rough until we exit the earths atmosphere. It pulled up my reservation and asked if I wished to upgrade to Solar class. I asked how much that would be and it explained that it was a small fee of 3 Bitcoins. I agreed and it took my payment by swiping a sensor over my visa arm implant.

It then directed me to launch pad 3. I arrived at launch pad 3 and decided that I wanted a drink while I waited. I flagged down a service droid and it came over to me. It asked me what I would like to drink. I said a beer would be great. It said it would return shortly. It returned with my beer and I paid again with my arm chip. When it was time to board, I walked up to the boarding gate and looked into a small screen. It was a retinal recognition device which used my eyes to identify me. The unit then asked me my name for verification.

I then walked down the tube to the spacecraft. Upon getting to the spacecraft, I was greeted by a human astronaut. He explained to me that I was sitting in seat a3 and directed me to my seat. About 10 minutes later, we blasted off and let me tell you, it was quite a ride. For about 10 minutes it was rough. Then it became very tranquil. The astronaut explained that we were going to be cruising at light speed and that we should arrive in about 4 hours.

Upon arrival, I exited the spacecraft and it was freezing. I walked to the baggage claim and then remembered that I forgot my suitcase back home. Oh well I thought, i’ll just buy some clothes here. I walked out of the terminal and stepped onto the shuttle for the only hotel in Mars, the Martian Marriott. The shuttle had a robot as a driver and her didn’t say anything.

We arrived at the hotel and let me tell you, this thing was massive. Must have been 5000 stories tall. I walked into the hotel once again, I was greeted by a customer service bot. It scanned my retinas and assigned me my room. I was staying on the 3586th floor. When I arrived at my room, I once again used my eyes in order to unlock the door. Upon entering, I had to go to the window to look outside. I had a spectacular view of jupiter. Wow, what a view.

I was tired so I decided to take a bath. I walked into the bathroom and used the voice command to draw the bath. I told it to “fill the tub to exactly 105 degrees” within 5 minutes, a voice told me that the bath was ready. I took a bath and afterwards decided I would go to sleep. I set an alarm for the morning by asking the in room alexa to wake me up at 6:00 am mars time. I will write you once again but i’m exhausted right now.

Talk to you later!!

Billy
