I have just traveled from Newcastle, England, to Dubai in the UAE by the new EMIRATES supersonic aircraft from airbus industries.
Getting to the airport was a breeze in my autonomous driving car and the same in Dubai. The flight took just over 3 hours – I remember the 2019s when it used to take 7.5 hours. My, haven’t timed changed.
The flight was so smooth with hyper fast broadband and the ability to watch any movie ever produced. All in 3D with superb surround sound headphones. The service crew, all androids, were 1st class too!
I was able to check in via Siri to the airport and all luggage was sent ahead – luckily I have androids at home to help me with all the hard work of washing and ironing!
Dubai is truly amazing, everything is interconnected and it really has the best service one could ever wish for. Everything can be booked quickly using my hand phone – from restaurants, to what I will eat, to what type of autonomous vehicle will take me there.
My room in the hotel had everything one could possibly want and it is all wirelessly interconnected! I have just ordered fish and chips to be delivered to my room and it will reach me by a special lift – straight to my room. No need for any staff.
I can lie on the bed and watch all the screens around me to give a virtual tour of all the places I want to visit – this is truly amazing! Once I have made my mind up, all I have to do is ask Siri to book me a tour. My Amex is automatically billed for the type of ticket I have requested and Siri will even organise the auto. If I want, I can have an Android guide who can speak and respond in any language or dialect I choose. It can even understand my Geordie accent – that’s some android for you!
Having a special pass, i am in the fortunate position to be able to dine at the top floor of the world’s highest building. I am going tonight and this will be my second visit. My first visit was two days ago and I was transported there by ultra fast monorail going to the station platform in the building. I took the elevator from ground floor to 512 and it only took five seconds as you can imagine my ears start at the pop! The views were fantastic and using a special camera inserted into my spectacles I was able to record the whole experience especially eating lobster Thermidor and looking out at the fantastic view.
Unfortunately it will be soon time to travel back to Newcastle however using emirates supersonic service I am looking forward to the journey. I have already used my Siri application to book my seat in advance . No need to worry about what type of seat I’ll be sitting in, as all are seats which convert into beds and have plenty of leg room. No need to worry about tickets either as everything including passport checks done automatically.
