You are now traveling just like you did with your mom and although she is no longer around her presence is missed. Just like with your mother we are traveling and exploring the world. Right now we are in Seattle, Washington for first time. Can you believe that? One of your favorite places you’ve always wanted to visit. We did not take a plane to arrive there either, but rather a high-speed rail train. We departed from Washington DC in the metro and arrived there shorter than the time it would take to arrive in a plane. The traveling was comfortable and of course felt a lot safer since you are closer to ground and rather than a 12 hour flight we arrived in 6 hours. We were able to see the cascading mountains and forests, the plains of the mid-west and so much more as we traveled speedily through the United States. We arrived in Seattle comfortable and visited several museums while we were there.
Phones and technology is a lot more advanced now with AI taking up most of the menial tasks such as reserving hotels and scheduling your activities. We did not mess a single activity and actually were able to get back early due to our AI. You could even have conversations with it. Though, my AI does get a little frustrated with me I do believe she enjoys my company. All in all it was incredible trip.
As I came home from adventure in Seattle ( I was hiking in the mountains where you could see AI controlled drone quadcopters hovering above delivering packages and take footage). I checked in with a robot, because most service-kiosk tasked have been replaced with automation in part I suspect due to high labor costs and check in to my room. Most human jobs were regulated to menial tasks such as carrying bags and parking cars (People weren’t quite ready to trust robots driving their vehicles). Although many vehicles had an automatic valet system. It’s difficult to explain, but basically for a small fee an AI would park your car for you all you have to do is allow it access to your vehicle via wifi and reserve your parking spot.
Anyways, I opened my room and it was oddly anachronistic. Everything was normal as you would have expected it to be, but the only difference were the televisions. No, it was not a hologram, but the screen was paper thin and the vision was crystal clear. The beds were comfortable and the lights still used switches. I suppose the keylock was interesting. It opened based on your retina signature which was temporarily stored into a database. All in all I’d say everything felt safe and society is becoming more advanced than ever.
