Here I am at last in Southern Spain having travelled by the new hypersonic deluxe Concordia jet from London. The journey only lasted 40 minutes and the new check-in systems and security with impulse scanning and luggage weighing meant we only spent 20 minutes at Heathrow. Spain in an hour!
We arrived at the hotel by bio fuel taxi which cut fare costs and our luggage was delivered securely by robot courier meaning no sprained wrists!
The hotel has all the modern facilities and we can enter our room, connect to wi-fi, and use drinks and snack dispensers all by voice recognition software. We can pay with voice recognition and check costs, transport services, places to visit and more by simply speaking into our hotel smart decoder which is easy to carry and attach or wear.
Travelling in the city is much easier with the noiseless tube trains which seat all and operate on hover stream air flow systems which reduce pollution greatly and provide a smooth ride. The river cruise was a delight to behold with Dyson air flow masts meaning low noise pollution free speedy travel on the water.
Many bars, restaurants and shops have voice or earlobe recognition systems for payment and queues are not evident as a result. Who would have guessed that scanning your earlobe would do all this but, apparently better than fingerprint or retinal scanning and much less intrusive.
The hotel has sonic showers so not having to waste time drying your hair. Voice activated wall panels allow you to turn on the lights, TV or music as well as order your meals and times you prefer to have them as well as location. Room or restaurant? Let me think!
The city is much nicer that pollution controls have reduced smoke and fuel pollution and no hybrid transport, just odourless bio or hydrogen cell fuel travel. The travelator road crossings mean safer pedestrians and smooth traffic flow.
A highlight of our stay has been the virtual tours of places lower down on our itinerary that we would have been able to fit in and they were almost like the real thing only from the comfort of our hotel room or relaxing by the pool. The heliporters meant we go farther afield in shorter time frames and still be back for the ball for the places we wanted to see for real!
All this meant that our ten day stay felt like three weeks at least with time saved to do those things that you would never have got round to thirty years ago.
I would definitely recommend that you give it a go in Seville City, Sophia, it is a futuristic city with a future built on the past. Its modern design mixing in with the old and its use of developing technologies is a wonder to behold.
